Merrimack Restaurant Faces Liquor Violations
NH State Liquor Commission meets today on a claim of serving a 'visibly intoxicated' person.

The New Hampshire State Liquor Commission meets today for a case involving the Jade Dragon, of 515 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, which was cited for liquor violations.
According to the commission, the restaurant was cited (on three counts) for serving or selling "an alcoholic beverage to an individual who was visibly intoxicated or who a reasonable and prudent person would know is intoxicated."
It was also cited for two counts of failure to maintain an orderly premise. The violations are from Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 of 2010, and Sept. 15, 2012, according to the commission.

An investigator's recommendation includes:
- $2,000 fine with $500 suspended pending a year without a similar violation
- four points assessed to the on-premise liquor license.
- the license to sell alcohol in the cocktail lounge suspended seven days, with two days held in abeyance for a year, pending no similar violation (with license suspension recommended from June 15 to June 20).
- Mandatory attendance at a TEAM – Total Education in Alcohol Management – seminar.
