Merrimack Skate Park Open for Season

Merrimack's Skate Park re-opened for the season on April 19, just in time for April vacation.

Skate Park attendant Juni Pierce said Friday that it's been a good opening week. Friday afternoon was a little quieter than most afternoons have been kids had been in and out all week.

The skate park hours are 2-8 p.m. or sunset if earlier for the remainder of vacation.

Hours during the school year are:

• Sunday: 2-6:30 p.m.
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 3-6:30 p.m.
• Friday: 3-8 p.m., or sunset if before 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 2-8 p.m., or sunset if before 8 p.m.
• The skate park is closed on Wednesdays.
