Merrimack Teen Arrested After Kicking Car: Police
Merrimack police said Illya Scott was arrested on a criminal mischief charge during a fracas in May.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack police recently arrested a teenager for allegedly kicking a car during a fracas in May. Illya Scott, 19, of Merrimack, was arrested June 16 and charged with criminal mischief. Police said Scott was involved in a verbal argument at a residence in town the night of May 27.
"Scott was involved in the altercation and had damaged a vehicle belonging to one of the other involved parties," Merrimack police Sergeant Chris Spillane said in a statement. "Upon further investigation by the officer and after speaking with witnesses, it was learned that Scott had kicked a vehicle’s door which caused damage to the passenger side mirror."
Scott was released on $1,000 bond pending an arraignment in Merrimack District Court.
