Give Blood. The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Planning board. The Merrimack Planning Board will meet in the Matthew Thornton Room in Town Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Among the agenda items, is a Pre-Submission Hearing to discuss a proposed conversion of an approximately 20,000 square-foot office building to 18-21 unit multi-family residential dwelling units within the C-2 and PUD Overlay Districts. P.M. Networking. The Merrimack Chamber of Commerce will host a P.M. Networking event at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22. Wear your favorite football jersey to be entered into a raffle. Food will be provided by Qdoba Mexican Grill and include their nacho bar and photo ops will be available with the Clydesdales. Paving Program. From the Department of Public Works: "The contractor expects to be raising drainage and sewer structures on Turkey Hill Road Tuesday, Aug. 20, and begin paving Wednesday morning, Aug. 21. Through traffic should plan to use Meetinghouse Road and Amherst Road."
