More Snow Forecasted for Merrimack Today

Winter weather advisory in effect until Sunday at 7 a.m.

As residents continue to dig out from the 8-12 inches of snow that blanketed southern parts of New Hampshire Wednesday and Thursday, forecasters are now calling for more snowfall Saturday night.

Much to the delight of Granite State snow sport enthusiasts, Weather.com is calling for snow to begin falling in the afternoon, likely accumulating less than an inch on the ground before seeing heavier totals at night, with another 2-4 inches expected.

The forecasted high temperature today is 31 degrees with a late night low of 21 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent.
