More than 700 PSNH customers are without power at this hour, for as yet to be known reasons, according to a Nixle alert from the Merrimack Police Department.
The power outage starts in the area of Shaw's on Daniel Webster Highway and extends north to the town line with Bedford. According to PSNH's outage map, 732 customers in Merrimack are without power and as are another 240 customers in Bedford.
Elsewhere in the state 43 customers in Hollis and 143 in Effingham are also experiencing power issues.

According to police, PSNH is aware and responding, but there is no estimated time for restoration of power to affected residents.
Police will provide updates as they are advised from PSNH.
