Newspaper Carrier Spots Late Night Prowlers

Police say they arrested two men in connection with the incident.

An alert newspaper carrier helped police arrest two Merrimack men who they say were found prowling around a closed business early Sunday morning.

The newspaper carrier called police around 4:30 a.m., however, before they could arrive, the two men saw the carrier and fled to the back of the business, police said.

Police say when they arrived they stopped Brett Martinez, 23, of 55 Cota Road, Merrimack, from fleeing. Martinez complied with an order to stop and was arrested without incident.
