9 Accidents Snarl Evening Commute in Southern NH
23 vehicles were involved in multiple smash-ups between 4:41 and 6:51 p.m. on Election Night.

New Hampshire State Police responded to nine car accidents involving 23 motor vehicles in the span of two hours during the evening commute on Election Night in Southern New Hampshire.
Five of the nine occurred on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua, including one six-car pile up that closed exit 6. Two othere were in Manchester in the area of Exit 7 on Interstate 293 and two more in Windham on Interstate 93 near the Windham Scales.
Trp. Bryan Plamondon of the NH State Police Troop B is investigating the six-car accident that occurred around 5:46 p.m. in Nashua on the Everett Turnpike northbound in the area of Exit 6. Involved were the following:

- Joshua Dakin, 45, of Nashua, driving a Yamaha motorcycle.
- Stephanie Burton, 44 of Nashua, driving a Mazda 3.
- Dorothy Lowe, 65 of Nashua, driving a Chevrolet Malibu.
- Kira Theodore, 16 of Milford, driving a Nissan Altima.
- Jason Hall, 31 of Nashua, driving a Dodge Caravan.
- Debra Lambert, 53 of Hollis, driving a Cadillac Escalade.
One individual was transported to an area hospital due to non-life threatening injuries sustained in this crash. This collision resulted in a brief highway lane closure. Anyone having information relative to this particular crash is asked to contact Plamondon at 223-8677.
