Photo of the Week: A Special Sight
This week's photo of the week was snapped by Bonnie St. Pierre.

Spotting one bald eagle in Merrimack is a special treat, but two?
Last week, Bonnie St. Pierre, local photographer and owner of B. St. Pierre Studio, snapped this shot of a pair of bald eagles spending some time hanging out in Merrimack.
St. Pierre posted this photo on Facebook last week, capturing dozens of likes, a dozen and a half shares and sparking conversation about this handsome pair of birds. St. Pierre said she found them on Greens Pond Road, and another resident said they thought they'd seen one in the swampy area on Naticook Road, not far from there.

Until about six years ago, the bald eagle was on the endangered species list, but it was officially removed in 2007 after years of protection and procreation.
It sounds like this pair may be frequent flyers in Merrimack, but please make sure if you spot them respect the birds by not trying to get too close or disturb their habits.
