Photo of the Week: Summer Forgotten

I went to Wasserman Park on Tuesday afternoon to take a photo to run with the ice safety You Ask ... Patch Answers today, and found myself enjoying a few moments of serenity in a spot in town that, during the summer, is always bustling with people.

The sun was setting when I snapped this shot at the docks on the public beach. As snow melted from the trees around me, the only noise was muffled traffic on the other side of the lake, critters in the trees and an occasional shriek of delight from up near the playground where a couple of people were sledding.
