The Governor is requesting that motorists get off the road by 3 p.m. today and I'm obliging. I want you to be safe and I want to be as well.
So, Merrimack, I'm asking for your help. When the storm kicks up (and it appears to be getting there now). We're asking for you to post your storm-related photos here. I will be out and about in Merrimack tomorrow, but for the rest of the day today, to get a good picture of what's going on around town.

So here's what you can do. First and foremost, safety is of the utmost importance. Being on the road in this kind of weather is unsafe for you and for emergency responders, but they will do their jobs, regardless. Please help them stay safe by heeding the warnings from state and local officials.
If you can safely take pictures of what's happening in your neigborhood, upload them to our photo gallery above. If you have no power, and take the photo on your phone, text them to me at 603-290-4045 and I'll upload them for you.
It's really easy:
1. Make sure you're signed in to your account or, if you don't have one yet, create one here.
2. Click on the button above that says "Upload Photos and Videos."
3. Choose the file from your computer – photos and videos are both enthusiastically accepted.
4. Make sure to add a caption in the space designated.
5. Click "Upload and return to article" and you're done!
We're also hoping for your help in identifying trouble spots around town. We have a similar post calling for you to tell us where there are trees down, power outages and other problems (localized flooding, etc.).
That article can be found here. Once you've notified authorities, comment on the linked article to let us know where those trouble spots are.
Be safe out there, Merrimack.
