Post Your Garage Sale on Merrimack Patch

Every weekend in Merrimack is an opportunity to sell your stuff to yard sale junkies. Whether you are a homeowner, church or civic organization, let the community know about your event by posting it for free on our events calendar.

Add your yard sales by Thursday morning, and we'll add them to our weekly roundup of the wheres and whens.

And if you are heading out on the yard-sale circuit, access the locations on your smart phone by downloading the free Patch app.

Here’s how to post your yard sale:

1. Choose "Events" from the top tool bar. Once on the events page, you can click "Add an Event." (Better yet click that link and bookmark the page immediately so you have a blank template anytime you want to add an event to our calendar.)
2. Give your event a title. Such as " Yard Sale on (Your Streetname)"
3. Enter a date and time for the event.
4. In the "Where" spot, enter the address of the sale.
5. Add a description letting the community know what kinds of items you are selling if the event is a benefit for anything and any other information you think is relevant.
6. Click “Upload Photos and Video” to add some pictures if you have them.
7. Choose the “Garage Sale” category for the event so it shows up with the other yard sales.
8. Click "Post My Event," and it will show up on the events calendar shortly.

Once you post your yard sale, shoot editor Carolyn Dube an email and let her know it's posted and she will add it to the weekly yard sale roundup that will post on Fridays.
