Report of Credit Card Fraud Leads to Habitual Offender Charge

Felony charges for man accused of misusing company credit card.

Alleged misuse of a corporate credit card lead to a Hillsborough man's arrest not only on fraud charges, but on a felony charge of driving as a habitual offender.

Ryan S. Schunemann, 23, of 24 Hoty Lane, Hillsborough, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of habitual offender and five counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Schunemann was arrested on a warrant stemming from an investigation that began in March when Schuneman's company reported that he'd used a company credit card to fuel a vehicle not owned by his employer. The company said this happened on five separated occasions. While investigating the complaint, police learned Schuneman was driving said vehicle as a habitual offender.
