Support the Library With a Meal at D.W. Diner

Here are five things you need to know as you start your week.

1. Tax day. Today is the Internal Revenue Service's tax deadline. Do you owe taxes to the IRS? Make sure you get your paperwork filed by the end of today. Need last-minute help? H&R Block is at 380 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack.

2. Library fundraiser. The Friends of the Merrimack Library have teamed up with D.W. Diner in Merrimack for a three-day fundraising event during National Library Week. Eat at the DW Diner on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday April 15, 16 and 17 and the owners will donate 10 percent of your food and drink bill to the Friends of the Library. Just mention the fundraiser or present the server with a coupon that you can pick up at the Merrimack Public Library or download here. Print the coupon - give the extra to a friend! The D.W. Diner is at at 416 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack. They serve breakfast from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

3. School board meets. The Merrimack School Board will meet in the Matthew Thornton Room tonight starting at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda is a review of the past year at James Mastricola Elementary School. 4. Set your business goals. Join the Hometown Business Alliance and author Paul Boynton tonight in the Round Room Coffee House for a presentation on reaching business goals refocusing your attention and taking action.
