Teen Arrested After Police Called Over Objects Thrown at Passing Motorists

Police say teen was also pouring Gatorade on the car owned by the reporting party.

Police arrested a 16-year-old male over the weekend after they were called for a report of a young male throwing objects at passing motorists on Continental Boulevard. The teen was also reportedly pouring Gatorade on the car belonging to the caller.

Police say when they responded around noon on Saturday, Oct. 19, the teenager was sitting in the driver seat of a vehicle in the area.

The responding officers attempted to identify the male who refused to provide a driver’s license or identification to the officers upon their request. He was subsequently arrested for disobeying a police officer, reckless conduct, resisting arrest and was also cited for littering.

Upon further investigation it was determined that the male was a juvenile. He was taken into custody and held over the weekend. He was scheduled to appear before the juvenile court on October 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. to answer to the above charges. The teen's name has not been disclosed by police due to his age.
