Merrimack police have arrested a 19-year-old on charges of possession of marijuana and alcohol. Police said Matthew A. Daniels, of 24 Craig Drive, Merrimack, was also charged with transporting the drug and alcohol after an officer inspected his parked vehicle June 9. The officer went to the end of West Chamberlain Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Daniels was processed at Merrimack Police Department and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail.  He is scheduled to appear in district court on the charges June 19, according to police.
