Theft Charge for Man Accused of Dumpster Diving for Scrap Metal
Nashua man allegedly stole a significant of scrap metal from a Merrimack business in October.

Police arrested a Nashua man early this morning charging him with theft for allegedly stealing a large amount of scrap metal from a recycling bin at a local business.
Corey Posey, 41, of 57 Tyler St., No. 409, Nashua, was charged with theft by unauthorized taking after he was arrested by Nashua Police on an active warrant out of Merrimack.
Police say they received a call on Oct. 19 from a local business man who noticed a "significant amount of scrap metal" was stolen from his recycling receptacle.

The case was then forwarded to the Detective Division where they were able to track down Posey through the scrap yard where the metal was turned in.
Posey was processed at the Merrimack Police Department and later released on $750 personal recognizance bail. He was ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court to answer to the charge on Feb. 19.
