
Teen Halloween Bash. Tweens and Teens ages 10-18 are invited to celebrate Halloween with a costume contest, delicious snacks, games, cheesy movies, and scary stories. The Halloween Bash is Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 4-6 p.m. Registration preferred. Teens are encouraged to bring a snack to share (please note what you will bring on the registration form).
Trick-or-Treat in Merrimack. This Thursday is Halloween and trick-or-treat is on! Dress up in costume and head out around town between the hours of 6-8 p.m.
Friends of the Library Movie Matinee. Hit the Library on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 2:30-4:15 p.m. for a movie event for the Friends of the Library and their families. Follow Disney Pixar's monsters to Scare College in this G-rated animated film. Refreshments will be served. If you would like to attend this event and become a Friend of MPL, membership forms will be available. Membership includes invitations to movie events throughout the year. Membership dues range from $5 for a student, $10 for an individual, $20 for a family and $50 for a patron.
Holiday Craft and Family Fun Fair. Thorntons Ferry Craft and Family Fun Fair includes lots of activities for everyone. Visit with New England crafters, enter a huge raffle, make bids on a silent auction, and treat yourself to lots of baked goodies! For kids we have ornament painting, a cake walk, games and Santa Store for "kids only" shopping. Also a scavenger hunt and Scholastic Book Fair and more. Read more about the event here.
Team TuTas Craft Fair. Get your holiday shopping started and check out the offerings of these very talented crafters. Lots to choose from! More than 70 crafters and artisans will be selling a huge variety of handmade and handcrafted items. Also be sure to check out the giant raffle with lots of great prizes and a delicious Bake Sale table! Proceeds to benefit breast cancer programs. Fair is at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua, right off Route 3 from Exits 7 and 8.
