Underage Merrimack Hotel Party Busted At 4 A.M.; Teen Arrested

MERRIMACK, NH -- Merrimack police said officers broke up an underage drinking party at a hotel Thanksgiving weekend and arrested a teenager. Yar Leek, 19 (pictured), was arrested Sunday at about 4 a.m. at the Residences At Daniel Webster. She was charged with facilitating an underage alcohol party and released on bond pending an arraignment.

Merrimack Police Sgt. Michael Marcotte said officers received a report of a "possible underage drinking party" at the hotel at 3:54 a.m.

"When police arrived,they observed a large amount of open alcohol containers and numerous people under the age of 21 inside," Marcotte said in a statement. "After a brief investigation, officers determined that Yar Leek was in control of the hotel room and had facilitated the underage party."

Leek will be arraigned Nov. 29 in Merrimack District Court.
