Vandals Strike NH GOP Headquarters

Also, the seasonal closure of the Merrimack Skate Park and the SHS hockey Ski and Skate sale is Friday.

New Hampshire GOP HQ vandalized. The headquarters for New Hampshire's Republican party was vandalized sometime Friday evening. According to a story on Concord Patch, the vandals spray painted "WWJD Healthcare for Everyone" on the back of the building owned by the state committee. "Our building was clearly vandalized by liberal political activists who disagree with our fiscally responsible values,” said Matt Slater executive director of the party. “Instead of trying to engage in a serious debate about the issues facing our country, these cowardly extremists decided to spread their liberal agenda by damaging our property." Girls on the Run New Hampshire, a chapter of the nationwide program that pairs volunteer coaches with girls in third through eighth grade to teach them self confidence through running, is looking for host sites for the spring. During the 10-week program, the participants train for a celebratory 5K race at the end of each season. Site applications are being accepted for spring 2014. All new coaches participate in training prior to the spring season. For more information about the program or to submit a site application, visit www.girlsontherunnh.org.
