Vigil to Be Held for Boston Tonight in Nashua
Here are five things you should know as you start your Wednesday.

1. Flags at half staff. On Tuesday morning, President Barack Obama issued a proclamation ordering the immediate lowering of flags on all public buildings and grounds to half-staff until sunset on Saturday, April 20, 2013, in honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.
2. Vigil tonight. A candlelight vigil in response to the Boston Marathon bombing is planned for April 17 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at City Hall Plaza. Anyone interested in being part of the vigil can come out with candles, flashlights or electric candles – however they would like to honor those who died and those who have a long road of recovery ahead.
3. Library fundraiser. Today is the last day to participate in the three-day long The Friends of the Merrimack Library have teamed up with D.W. Diner in Merrimack for a three-day fundraising event during National Library Week. Eat at the DW Diner on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday April 15, 16 and 17 and the owners will donate 10 percent of your food and drink bill to the Friends of the Library. Just mention the fundraiser or present the server with a coupon that you can pick up at the Merrimack Public Library or download here. Print the coupon - give the extra to a friend! The D.W. Diner is at at 416 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack. They serve breakfast from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

4. Parks and Rec. committee to meet. The Merrimack Parks and Recreation Committee will meet tonight in the Town Hall Conference Room where they will discuss updates on the dog park proposed for Wasserman Park and the pavillion being constructed for Watson Park. Meeting begins at 7 p.m.
5. Wednesday weather. Nice weather continues today despite mostly cloudy through mid-morning. Clouds are supposed to clear gradually and temperatures should hit a high near 64. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 38.
