Wags and Smokey Girl Want to Settle into Your Lives

Meet this week's Pets of the Week from the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.

Wags

Hi everyone, it’s me, Wags, and my name says it all! I’m constantly wagging my tail and smiling with my big brown eyes to say hello. I’m a really sweet boy, but since I don’t like to be hugged or squeezed I need to go to a home without children. I would definitely benefit from and bond with my new owner over training classes where I could learn fun things like how to “leave it” and “stay.” I'm very active so I would need a family that would exercise me daily and give me lots of room to run, run, run! If you are an experienced dog owner who is looking for a fun dog that will keep you on your toes, then I'm your guy! Don’t forget, all new adopters receive a free first visit to your choice of 16 area vets.

Smokey Girl

I’m a shy girl who is getting used to how fast paced things are around here since I had to come back to the shelter when my owner passed away. You can find me quietly watching all of the happenings from the office, where I really enjoy my warm fluffy bed and perching up high to see the activity below. My bright blue eyes and unique markings will surely catch your attention, and I’m hoping there is someone patient who is willing to give me a chance to be the sweet kitty I am! I need a quiet home with adults only so I that can settle in. Once I’m comfortable, you’ll see that I like attention and get really frisky when playing with my toys. Give me a chance and come meet me at The Humane Society for Greater Nashua at 24 Ferry Road in Nashua, NH. Like all the pets at HSFN I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccines.

Looking for a way to help out? These are the top five most wanted items at the shelter this week: paper towels, IAMS canned kitten food, IAMS adult dog food,  IAMS adult cat food, floor cleaner. Donations can be dropped off 24/7 in our donation shed.
