Water Main Break Repaired
Merrimack Police reported via Nixle the town's water department had repaired the water main break on Thursday evening.

UPDATED, 7:45 p.m.: The Merrimack Police Department issued a Nixle alert on Thursday evening that a water main break that happened around 5:30 p.m. on Columbia Circle off the Daniel Webster Highway has been repaired.
In addition to several inches of snow, the extreme cold temperature may have also contributed to the incident.
Earlier story: The Merrimack Police Department issued a Nixle alert just minutes ago advising residents that the Merrimack Water Department is currently working on a water main break in the area of Daniel Webster Highway and Columbia Circle.
Police said there may be a temporary loss of water service in the immediate area.
