When Are Merrimack's Polls Open?

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.

It's hard to believe but the election is finally upon us.

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, the country will decide if it wants four more years with Barack Obama and Joe Biden or a new administration with Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

New Hampshire voters will also elect a new governor and decide whether to elect new congressmen, new state reps, new state senators and a whole ballot full of offices.

A recent superior court decision blocked new voter registration requirements; however, the requirement for voters to show ID is in effect. A voter who does not possess a valid ID may vote on Nov. 6, if they execute an affidavit or have their identity verified by the moderator, clerk, or supervisor of the checklist.  Voters may contact the Town Clerk's office at with any questions."
