Congrats to These Great Milford Students!

The following students have recently reached educational milestones:

The following students have been named to Plymouth State University's Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List at Plymouth State, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. These credit hours must be in courses that earn grade points and the student must have completed all such courses attempted. A record number of graduates – 3,169 – were presented with diplomas at UMass Lowell's 2013 Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 18 at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell. For the second year, UMass Lowell held two Commencement ceremonies because of the increase in graduates – up more than 250 since last year and more than 1,000 since 2007, a period that has seen a 40 percent increase in enrollment and rising retention.The following local students received diplomas: Nicholas Lambros of Amherst, N.H. Stephen Leonard of Amherst, N.H. Kristyna Lampman of Amherst, N.H.

Jonathon Hamel, a resident of Milford, graduated from Ithaca College's School of Humanities and Sciences with a major in Drama. The degree was awarded in May 2013.
