PUMPKIN FEST TALENT SHOW: From the Milford Improvement Team Facebook page: Over 40 people are auditioning for this year's Talent Show during the Milford Great Pumpkin Festival - coming from all over southern NH for a chance to perform during the show! Get your tickets early - it's going to be a great show and we typically sell out! Tickets on sale now for $8 adults - tickets will be $10 at the show!
3. MILFORD GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: They will visit Windham today.
4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1985, actor Rock Hudson, 59, becomes the first major U.S. celebrity to die of complications from AIDS. Hudson's death raised public awareness of the epidemic, which until that time had been ignored by many in the mainstream as a "gay plague."
