Meet Future Leaders From Milford

Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people's academic achievements as they prepare for the future.

MILFORD, NH — The future of Milford is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders working hard at college to prepare for the future.

Nicholas Sloan, a member of the class of 2025 majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), recently completed a senior thesis that is required of all graduating seniors as part of the university's distinctive project-based educational experience. Nicholas's Major Qualifying Project (MQP), a research-driven, professional-level project that challenges students to solve the kinds of problems they would typically encounter in their professional discipline, was titled "Wings of Gompei: RC Aircraft Design, Assembly, and Test." He also received a bachelor's degree on May 16.

James Michael Gillis of Milford received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University on May 10.

Gage Levi Tlapa of Milford, a sophomore majoring in engineering and management, was named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2025 semester at Clarkson University.

Isabella Schlim, a Lasell University student from Milford, was named to the Dean's List for their academic performance in the Spring 2025 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

With great pleasure, Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following Milford students on being named to the Spring 2025 President's List. The spring terms run from January to May.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Kendal Kittredge of Milford has been named to the Dean's List Kittredge is majoring in Communication Disorders and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2027. The requirement to make the Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Madelynn Debelis of Milford is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the winter 2024-25 sports season. Debelis, a graduate of Milford High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in biology at The Valley. Debelis was a member of the women's ice hockey team.

Monina Tosi of Milford has been named to Emmanuel College's Fall 2024 Dean's List in recognition of academic excellence. Tosi is a Economics major. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Parker Mabbett of Milford was named to the Dean's List during the Fall 2024 academic semester at Salve Regina University. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 for full-time students completing at least 12 graded credits, or a semester grade point average of 3.8 for part-time students completing at least six credits.

Julia Greer, of Milford, earned dean's list honors at University of Tampa for the Fall 2024 semester. Greer is a Senior majoring in Finance BS. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

The following students have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the Fall 2024 semester.

  • Paeton Moul of Milford, majoring in Accounting.
  • Daniel Solari of Milford, majoring in Filmmaking.

The following students have been named to the Champlain College President's List for achieving a grade point average of 4.0 or higher in the Fall 2024 semester.

  • Shawn Belanger of Milford.
  • Grace McGrath of Milford.

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce that Robbie Anderson of Milford has been named to the Dean's List and President's List for the fall 2024 semester. The entire UHart community is proud to celebrate Robbie's hard work and academic success.

Clark University announced students named to the Fall 2024 Dean's List.

  • Hannah K. Harrington, of Milford, was named to first honors.
  • Brady T. Kershaw, of Milford, was named to second honors.

Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce that Robbie Anderson of Milford has been named to the Dean's List and President's List for the spring 2024 semester. The entire UHart community is proud to celebrate Robbie's hard work and academic success.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Trice Cote, a member of the class of 2027 majoring in Mechanical Engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2024 semester. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI students are named to the Dean's List based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects. A total of 2,393 undergraduate students achieved these criteria for WPI's fall 2024 Dean's List.
