Milford Breaks Ground on New Ambulance Facility
Milford Ambulance will occupy the new building in November.
Town officials and onlookers gathered on Elm Street Saturday to celebrate the construction of a new ambulance facility in Milford.
Milford Ambulance's new 8,200 sq ft facility at 66 Elm Street will include four ambulance bays, administrative offices, dorm space, medical storage and a community meeting room.
The new building should be ready for occupancy by November.

Milford Ambulance director Eric Schelberg was proud to see construction on this facility finally begin after many years of planning. He thanked the many volunteers and town officials who worked hard to bring a modern ambulance facility to Milford.
"This is a wonderful day and a proud moment for the ambulance service. This has been a long time coming."
