2. MILFORD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SURVEY: From the town website:
How should Milford’s economy grow? The Economic Development Advisory Council is conducting a public input survey to hear what you have to say about Milford’s future economic growth and development. Community input is needed in identifying our community’s strengths, weaknesses and opportunities as they relate to the local economy and our community’s ability to stimulate economic development.

Printed copies of the survey are available in the lobby at Town Hall, from the Community Development Office, and at Wadleigh Memorial Library. Completed forms can be returned to the survey drop-off boxes at anyone of these locations. PDF Version Survey

3. LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETS: The board will meet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Keyes Meeting Room.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: At 6 a.m. on this day in 1778, Mohawk Indian chief and British Loyalist leader Joseph Brant leads a force of 150 Iroquois Indians and 300 British Loyalists under the command of Captain William Caldwell in a surprise attack on the area of German Flats,New York. German Flats, now known as Herkimer, New York, was left virtually undefended by Patriot troops prior to the raid.
