Milford Soccer Star Named NHIAA Student Athlete of the Month
Morgan Andrews was recognized for her "strong work ethic and determination."

The NHIAA is pleased to recognize two outstanding athletes both on and off the field of play. They exemplify the ideals and values that are the cornerstone of school based athletics and are positive role models in their school and community.
They have chosen Milford High School soccer player Morgan Andrews for the month of November, along with Tanner Nichols from Hinsdale High School.
Andrews is a senior at MHS and is also a volunteer youth soccer coach. Her accomplishments so far include:

- 2011-2012 Gatorade National Girls’ Soccer Player of the Year
- Captain of the US U-17 Women’s World Cup Team
- School Career Scoring Record: 31 Goals and 18 Assists
Marc Maurais, Athletic Director at Milford High School, said “Morgan’s strong work ethic and determination is evident for all to see as she performed at the state, national, and international levels. Her leadership, whether on the soccer field or volunteering locally as a youth soccer coach and mentor, is one that is inspiring.”
