Milford Students Receive Academic Honors

The following students have recently reached educational milestones:

• Perry Alperin, a resident of Milford, NH, has been named to the Spring 2013 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Perry is a Undecided/Liberal Arts major. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
• Matthew Myers of Milford, N.H., (03055) graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineering in the spring 2013 quarter.
• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that about 3,800 undergraduates have qualified for the Spring 2013 Dean's List. The students represent all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, many other states and more than a dozen countries. Suzanne Judith Meiman of Milford, NH was named to the Dean's List.
• Kendall Maggelet of Milford graduated in May 2013 from Hofstra University with a MS in Taxation. Kendall was among more than 2,000 undergraduate, graduate and law students who celebrated completing their studies at commencement ceremonies in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
• The following area students have been named to the dean's list for the spring 2013 semester at the University of Vermont: Rhianna N. Sommers of Milford, NH, a sophomore majoring in Environmental Sciences in the Rubenstein School of Environment & Natural Resources. Hannah C. Zelnik of Milford, NH, a junior majoring in Professional Nursing in the College of Nursing & Health Sciences.
