Milford Teacher Dismissed After Staff Learns of Criminal Record

She was let go last week.

The Nashua Telegraph has reported that a Milford substitute teacher who was employed at Heron Pond Elementary School was dismissed last week after police learned she had multiple arrests on her record.

Cassandra Potter, 30, of Amherst was hired in late September and taught fifth grade for a day, according to the paper. The district then discovered that she has been arrested at least three times in 2011.
