Fugitive Drug Dealer Captured

UPDATE, 8:30 a.m.: Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Fugitive of the Week Luis Felipe Rodriguez in Fall River, MA early Thursday morning.

Information developed by investigators led the task force to Rodriguez's girlfriend’s apartment on Robeson Street in Fall River. During a search of the residence, Rodriguez was located and arrested without incident.

Rodriguez was turned over to the Fall River Police Department, where he will be processed as a fugitive from justice. He will appear in Fall River District Court today and will likely be held pending his return to New Hampshire to face possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin charges.

The District of New Hampshire–New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is attempting to locate and arrest New Hampshire State Police fugitive Luis Felipe Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin. These charges are the result of a traffic stop this past December and the subsequent execution of a search warrant on the vehicle, leading to the discovery of the narcotics. Rodriguez is known to have ties to southeastern New Hampshire and southern Maine and could possibly still be in this area.
