Santa & Mrs. Claus Throw Deal-Filled Snow Balls In Milford

Deal-hungry Milford residents crowded in Shepard Park on Saturday for the their first ever Snow Ball Drop hosted by the Milford Improvement Team.

Santa and Mrs. Claus threw ping pong balls with holiday discounts, coupons or promotions from Milford businesses like Amigos Mexican Cantina, Robin’s Egg, Toyland and Toadstool Bookshop. There was also a special drop just for kids to get their own Christmas trinkets.

The Souhegan Valley Chorus provided some Christmas cheer, while Milford Destination Imagination provided hot cocoa and treats. The Snow Ball Drop was sponsored by the Cabinet Press, and the lift was provided by Classic Signs of Amherst.

Things got a bit chilly with the long line this year, but this Patch Editor now has 20 percent off at a local salon to get his hair did.
