Volunteers Sought for Milford Pumpkin Festival

The Milford Great Pumpkin Festival is set to celebrate its 24th year in October, and volunteers are still sought to help out with the event.

The festival will run from Oct. 11 to Oct 13 in downtown Milford.

On the first night, the festival will include music at the Oval, the Lighting of the Pumpkins at Milford Town Hall, a block party on Elm Street and the Chili Round-Up Contest.

On the second day, the 5th annual Pumpkin Festival Talent Show will take place at the Amato Center.

Returning features include the Great Pumpkin Weigh In, the Pumpkin Catapult, scarecrow making and face painting.
