My name is Robert Michaelson, I'm the editor of Milford Patch.

Patch is Milford's new daily, interactive news source bringing you dedicated news coverage and so much more. 

There are several ways to enjoy Patch. Here's a guide to get you started:

News: Patch is the place you can go to find out what the latest news is in town. With professional journalists working to bring you news and features, you can find out here anything from what happened at the last Select Board meeting to the latest updates from the police department, to political news and more. News may come in the format of stories, photos, videos or a combination thereof.

Community: Wondering what big event is happening this weekend? Want to see which of your kids' friends made the honor roll or deans list last quarter? Are you looking for a way to get involved in town with some local volunteer work? Then Patch is the place for you. Under our News and Events tabs, you can find the latest in what's happening around town as well as announcements that can include engagement or wedding notices, birth notices,  deans list and honor roll announcements, volunteer opportunities and so much more. Best of all? You can post these items yourself for free!

Interaction: We encourage our readers to register with Patch. There is no subscription fee to pay and registering opens so many doors to you. After registering, you can post your own events, upload photos and videos to share with the Patch community and comment on stories. You can also write business reviews to be posted in our directory under the Places tab. Click on the "Sign Up" link at the top of the page.

Places: Whether you own a business in town, shop or eat here or are a client of a local business, you'll want to check out our comprehensive business directory. Listings include addresses, hours, photos and more. Registered users can also write business reviews. Do you own a business in our directory? Claim it and update the page with information and photos.

Blog for us: We think what the people living in the community have to say is so important, so we are always looking for people to blog with Patch!
