1,200 Gather Peacefully In Nashua To Rally And Protest

A group estimated to be 1,200 people peacefully gathered to share their message about needed change, and Black Lives Matter.

NASHUA, NH — An estimated crowd of 1,200 people gathered in Nashua Saturday evening at Greeley Park to express outrage over the killing of George Floyd and others who have been killed in police brutality incidents.

The crowd listened as people took to the stage and spoke to the crowd, and some performing songs.

The park was filled with people holding signs supporting change, Black Lives Matter, and honoring those who have died in police involved incidents.

Heavy rain moved in towards the end of the rally causing some people to head out of the park.

The rally was peaceful and there were no apparent arrests or incidents.

Nashua DPW blocked Concord Street at each end of the park to protect the participants and allow people to safely use the street.
