38-Year-old Man Charged With Stabbing Woman With Scissors In Nashua
Jonathan Gerald was arrested Tuesday and charged with four counts of first-degree assault-domestic violence, which is a felony.

NASHUA, NH —A 38-year-old man was arrested Tuesday and charged with stabbing a female acquaintance with scissors, the Nashua Police Department said.
Jonathan Gerald, of no fixed address, was charged with four counts of first-degree assault-domestic violence, which is a Class A felony, according to police.
Each Class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in state prison, exclusive of fines.

Authorities said that as of Thursday, the suspect was being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections on preventative detention and was awaiting arraignment.
According to police reports, at approximately 12:43 a.m. Monday, NPD officers responded to a residence on Worcester Street for the report of an alleged assault.

A female victim said the suspect, whom she knew, had stabbed her with scissors, police said.
The NPD said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and she was treated at a local hospital and later released.
An investigation by detectives in the NPD's Special Investigations Division determined that Gerald had stabbed the female multiple times, police said.
The NPD said its detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant.
At approximately 5:04 p.m. Tuesday, the NPD's Special Investigations Division located and arrested Gerald on the warrant, according to the department.
