Axenics of Nashua Receives State Job Training Grant
Axenics of Nashua one of four companies to receive job training grants.

Governor Maggie Hassan announced Wednesday four New Hampshire companies on the receiving end of job training grants which will be used to help them train 47 workers in new skills.
The job training grants total $14,585.50. The four companies contributed matching funds, bringing the total funds for training workers to $29,171.
"I am proud to announce another round of important grants to help prepare workers for good jobs at New Hampshire's growing businesses," Hassan said.

"New Hampshire's job training fund is a critical resource that has helped thousands of workers develop essential skills. We must continue to focus on job training and higher education to support innovative businesses and help ensure that our workforce is as highly skilled as possible.”
Axenics of Nashua received a Job Training Fund grant of $1,498 for training six employees in welding and leak rate and measurement training using ManchesterCommunity College and Agilent Technologies as trainers.

Agility Mfg., Inc. of Dover received a grant of $5,500 for training three employees in ISO 9001:2008 training using NH Manufacturing Extension Partnership as trainer.
WS Badger Company of Gilsum received a grant of $3,800 for providing two employees in LEAN Certification training using River Valley Community Collegeas trainer.
A grant of $3,787.50 was awarded to Vishay HiRel Systems of Dover for training up to 36 employees in team leadership training using Great Bay Community College as trainer.
The Job Training Fund has awarded $6,152,639.60 in grants since October 2007, with employers contributing $8,735,491.10 for a total of $14,888,130.70 in new training for 18,285 New Hampshire workers.
