Nashua's audit determines financial statements to be in ‘good working order' (inklink.news) — Nashua’s latest independent audit found the city’s financial records in good working order and compliant with GAAP, with no major adjustments needed. Auditors highlighted a strong general fund and improving reserves, while noting long‑term pension and retiree benefit obligations that the city is scheduled to fund through 2037.
   

2. Nashua Man Dies After Route 101 Crash In Candia: New Hampshire State Police Roundup (patch.com) — A 58-year-old Nashua man, Joseph L. Lavoie, died after his Subaru crashed and caught fire on Route 101 in Candia Monday morning, despite rescue efforts from passing drivers. The same state police roundup also notes a separate Merrimack stop involving a Nashua driver accused of registration and license violations.
   

3. Aurora named one of the best cities to move to in U.S. (thevoice.us) — Nashua has been ranked the top city in the country to move to in MRI Software’s new Move-In-Magnet Index, edging out Aurora, Cleveland, Dover, and Salt Lake City. The index credits Nashua and similar cities for combining strong job markets, reasonable costs, and safety to offer a lifestyle big metros can’t match.
   

4. Pedestrian killed in So. Willow Street accident, police say (unionleader.com) — A Nashua woman driving an SUV was involved in a fatal crash that killed a 65-year-old Manchester pedestrian on South Willow Street Monday evening. Manchester police say the victim later died at a local hospital, and their traffic unit is still investigating. Anyone who saw the incident is asked to contact Manchester police with information.
   

5.
