Downtown Project Update: Sealing Vaults at 100 Main Street

Aug. 23 update from the city's website:

Last week the city completed all the work we planned, including the continuation of the conduit work up the East side of Block 2 and the demolition of the old sidewalks.  The next street light foundation was installed and crews continued to form and pour pads.

This week: Efforts will be focused in front of 100 Main St. Crews will be peeling up the current material on the sidewalk and exposing and sealing the vault that is under the sidewalk. The sealing of the vault will be a time-consuming process and the plan is to pour pads over the vault by week’s end.
