Elderly Driver Crashes Into House On The Hollis And Nashua Line
The man appeared confused that the road ended and traveled over a stone wall, striking the house on Indian Rock Road in Hollis.
HOLLIS, NH — Nashua Fire, AMR, and Hollis Fire responded to a report of a vehicle that struck a house on Indian Rock Road Tuesday.
Firefighters and EMS from both departments arrived at the scene of the crash, which is on the Nashua and Hollis line, at about 7:35 p.m. They found a vehicle left the roadway at the end of the road, traveling over a stonewall, narrowly missing a tree, and struck the corner of the house.
An elderly man was driving the vehicle and appeared confused that the road ended and continued straight to the end of the road. The airbags in the vehicle were activated from the crash, and the Cadillac STS car had heavy front-end damage. AMR personnel evaluated the man, who refused medical treatment at the scene and was not transported.

Hollis firefighters determined that the house was in Hollis, and Nashua Firefighters were cleared from the scene.
Eversource was requested to the scene due to the electrical meter being struck by the vehicle. The utilities for the house were underground, so no external damage was done. However, an electrician was asked to evaluate the interior electrical of the house.
