Elderly Driver Injured After She Crashes Into Mickey's Pizza In Hudson

The Lowell Road restaurant was open at the time of the crash but no customers were injured. Structural damage caused forced its closure.

HUDSON, NH — Hudson Police and fire responded to a report of a vehicle into the building at Mickey’s Pizza on Lowell Road on Wednesday at about 1:40 p.m.

Upon arrival, responders found that the occupant of the vehicle was entrapped. Hudson firefighters worked to free the woman from the car. Hudson police investigated the crash involving a Buick Encore operated by Helen Gosselin, 82, of Hudson.

Investigators found the vehicle was traveling south on Lowell Road when it lost control and crossed to the east of Lowell Road. The vehicle then collided with the northern side of Mickey’s NY Pizza Restaurant.

The restaurant was open and operating during this incident; however, no patrons were injured.

The driver was transported by ambulance to the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua for non-life-threatening injuries.

The business remains closed for structural reasons. This crash is under investigation.
