NH State Police say Joseph Casper was killed after his car was rear-ended by a teen driver and sent into a pickup truck on Monday afternoon.
NASHUA, NH — A man from South Boston, Massachusetts, was killed after a three-vehicle crash on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua on Monday afternoon.
Around 2:45 p.m., New Hampshire State Police troopers were sent to the area of Exit 7E for a report of a rollover crash with injuries. When they arrived, they found a Lexus ES that rolled after being rear-ended by an SUV and colliding with a Ram 1500 pickup truck.
A preliminary investigation by state police found that Canice Maple, 17, of Dunstable, MA, was driving an Audi Q5 when she rear-ended the Lexus being driven by Joseph Casper, 85, of South Boston, MA, according to a report. The crash “caused the Lexus to strike” the pickup, sending the car onto its side. Casper was sent to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, state police said.
