Man And Woman Dead After Truck Crosses Median And Hits Motorcycle
The truck burst into flames after impact and the driver escaped with minor injuries. Nashua police say the driver has been arrested.
NASHUA, NH — A horrific head-on crash involving a pickup truck and motorcycle has left two people dead and a man arrested on the Daniel Webster Highway near Independence Drive.
Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR, and police responded to a report of a pickup truck on fire and two victims in the roadway. Upon arrival, just after 3 p.m., a man and a woman were pronounced deceased at the scene and the driver of the truck was transported by AMR with minor injuries.
Nashua police closed the roadway in both directions and set up detours.

Several people witnessed the white Chevrolet pickup truck traveling north when it crossed over the median and struck the motorcycle head-on, according to police. The man and the woman were thrown from the motorcycle, and the truck continued dragging the motorcycle.
After the motorcycle came out from under the truck, the truck caught fire, and the driver exited the vehicle.

Nashua police and the state medical examiner are at the scene, and investigating the incident, and the roadway is expected to be closed for hours.
Police have verified the driver of the truck was taken into custody, at this time, but the charges he faces are unknown.
