Fatal Hudson Motorcycle Crash Under Investigation
Hudson police are investigating a two-vehicle accident that killed a motorcyclist; Derry Street was closed for several hours on Monday.
HUDSON, NH — Hudson Police and fire responded to a report of a motorcycle accident on Derry Street, Route 102, on Monday.
While responders were en route, they were advised that CPR was in progress and a medical helicopter was requested. They arrived around 6 p.m. Members of the Hudson police and Hudson fire departments began to administer life-saving measures to the injured motorcyclist. The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The initial crash investigation determined a 2018 Mazda 3 sedan was traveling east on Route 102. The 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle was traveling west. As the Mazda sedan made a left-hand turn, the motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the sedan.

The female operator of the sedan was not injured. The motorcyclist was wearing a DOT-approved helmet. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the cause of this collision.
This crash is still under investigation, and the names of the involved are being withheld until next of kin notifications have been made. Anyone who witnessed the crash can contact Officer Royston at 603-886-6011.
