Fire Under Investigation at Apartment Complex

Fire officials and police are at the scene of a basement fire at an apartment on Deerwood Drive just off of Amherst Street.

The fire, reported just before 1 p.m., at Regent Park Apartments, Unit 66, was quickly knocked down by fire crews.

Nashua Deputy Fire Chief Brian Rhodes said the Nashua fire marshal's office was called in to help pinpoint the cause.

He said the fire was contained to the basement which is a storage space, and damage was minimal. No one was displaced.
