NASHUA – If you’re unemployed, underemployed, or returning to complete your degree; Nashua Community College has the remote learning resources to help you get ahead while staying safe at home.

“Nashua Community College is more than just our campus. Our faculty and staff are rolling with the changes and ready to help you navigate your college and career path,” said Samantha Belcourt, CTE & Continuing Education Coordinator at NCC. “Our partnerships within the community, especially with WIOA, can help those most impacted by the current climate.”

WIOA, or the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, is an employment and training program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor to help Dislocated Workers and other Eligible Adults access resources to manage their careers, and to help companies find skilled workers.

WIOA recently approved funding for online education, meaning eligible students may have their classes sponsored by WIOA.

On May 26, WIOA-eligible online instruction begins in the following programs:

· Accounting III Certificate

· Small Business Management Certificate

· Cybersecurity Networking Certificate

· Computer Networking Certificate

Additionally, Microsoft Certification trainings are available online now including Word Core, Word Expert, Excel Core, Excel Expert, Access, and PowerPoint. Take a Microsoft Certification course and test to earn your Microsoft badge, an industry-recognized credential. through our Certiport testing center.

Other programs geared toward adult students include the Accelerated Lifelong Learning program (ALL), which launched this fall with degree and certificate pathways in business, psychology, and data analytics. Earn an associate degree in 20 months, or a certificate in 10 months. Dedicated student support staff will be available to keep you on track and help you succeed.

Strengthen your resume with remote workforce development trainings such as project management, medical translator, or web design.
