After 10 months away from his home in Hudson for boot camp, followed by a nine-month deployment in Afghanistan, Pfc. Jeff Lipsky, 22, got a VIP welcome home Aug. 14, which included an escort from the state line by a motorcycle convoy of Patriot Guard Riders.
