Hudson Officers Grow Beards for a Cause

Nine officers from the Hudson Police Department grew beards to support the Special Olympics in February and capped the fund-driving effort with a chilly dip in Lake Winnipesaukee on March 8.
The group raised over $5,555 for the Special Olympics of New Hampshire.
Members of law enforcement have a long history of supporting the Special Olympics in different ways. The Law Enforcement Torch Run, which supports SONH and precedes the opening ceremonies of the summer games in the state.
